Want vibrant, full-color prints that won’t crack, peel, or feel heavy? Dye sublimation (aka “dye sub”) is one of the best ways to get a smooth, premium finish because the ink becomes part of the fabric—rather than sitting on top of it.

Alongside direct-to-film (DTF), direct-to-garment (DTG), and screen printing, we offer professional dye sublimation printing for apparel and products that need bold color, soft feel, and long-lasting durability.

What is dye sublimation?

Dye sublimation uses special transfer paper and heat to infuse the design into the material. The result: no raised ink, no stiff print, and excellent durability—especially on polyester-based fabrics.

Best for

  • Polyester garments (jerseys, performance tees, team gear)
  • All-over / edge-to-edge designs (patterns, gradients, photos)
  • Soft-hand feel (print is part of the fabric)
  • Custom printed blankets (we print our custom blankets with dye sub)

Not ideal for

  • 100% cotton (DTF or DTG is usually a better fit)
  • Dark garments (dye sub works best on light colors unless using specialty products)

Dye Sub vs. DTF (quick comparison)

  • Dye Sub: Infuses into polyester → ultra-soft, very durable, great for all-over looks
  • DTF: Transfers onto fabric → works on more materials/colors, great for logos and mixed garment types
